NOTIFICATIONS

New Delhi, the 28th September 1976

S.O. 651(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of

the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976), the Central Government being requested

so to do by the State Bank of Mysore, establishes, with effect from the 2nd October, 1976,

a Regional Rural Bank in the State of Karnataka under the name of Cauvery Grameena

Bank, which shall operate within the local limits of the district of Mysore in the State of

Karnataka.

SO. <S2(E).—In exercise of tbe powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of

the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976., the Central Government, after consultation

with the Reserve Bank of India and the State Bank of Mysore, by which Cauvery Grameena

Bank has been sponsored, specifies Mysore as tfae place where Cauvery Grameena Bank

•toll have its head office.

S.O. 653(E).—In pmsuance of sub-clause (iii) of clause (a) of sub-section (6) of section

42 of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 (2 of 1934), the Central Government hereby

notifies, for the purposes of the said sub-clause, Cauvery Grameena Bank, being an institu-

tion established under sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Regional Rural Bants Act, 1976

(21 of 1976).

S.O. 654(E).—In pursuance of clause (a) of sub-section (6) of section 42 of the Reserve

Bank of India Act, 1934 (2 of 1934) the Reserve Bank of India hereby directs the inclusion

in the Second Schedule to the said Act o<f the following bank, namely:—

Cauvery Grameena Bank, Mysore.
