G.S.R. 842(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of

the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government being satisfied that it is

necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment

in the

notification of the Government of India in the department of Revenue and

Banking

(Revenue Wing) No. 227-Customs, dated the 2nd August, 1976. namely:—

In the Table annexed to the said notification, for S. No. 5 and the entries relating thereto,

the following shall be substituted, namely:—

(a) High density polyethylene moulding powder

and granules

(b) Low density polyethylene moulding powder

and granules

(3)

20 per cent ad valorem

40 per cent ad valorem."
