NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 14th. October 1976
S.O. 677 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Public
Premises (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1071 (40 of 1971), and in
supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the late Ministry
of Health and Family Planning and Works, Housing and Urban Development
No. 110. 2167, dated the 11th June, 1070, the Central Government hereby appoints
the officer mentioned in column (1) of the Table below being officer equivalent
to the rank of a Gazetted Officer of Government, to be the estate officer for the
purposes of the said Act, who shall exercise the powers & conferred, and perform
the duties imposed,
on an estate officer by or under the said Act within the local
limits of his jurisdiction in respect of the public premises specified in column (2)
of the raid Table.
