CUSTOMS

G.S.R. 1 (E):—In pursuance of clause (a) of sub-section

(3) of section 15 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), and

in supersession of the notification of the Government of India

tk the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 209—

Customs [O.S.R-. No. 627(E)], dated the 1st October, 1977 the

Central Government hereby determines that, for the purposes

of sections 14 and 15 of the said Act, the rate of exchange for

conversion of each of the foreign currency specified in column

(2) of the Schedule below into Indian currency or vice versa

shall be tho rate mstitioned against it in the correspor ding

entry in column (3) thereof.
