FXPORT TRADE CONTROL

S. O. 4(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Imports and Exports (Control) Act. 1947, (18 of 1947),

the Central Government hereby makes the following order further to amend the Exports (Control) Order, 1977, namely .—

1. This Order may be called the Exports (Control) first Amendment Order, 1978.

2 In Pan 'B' of Schedule I to the Expoits (Control) Order, 1977 the existing entry against S. No. 73 (ii) shall be ^ubsliluled by the

following ;—

73(ii) Hand woven woollen carpels and rugs except of Persian and Mobarik designs.

3. Jn Lxports (Control) Order, 1977 in OGL-3, the existing entries against S No 44(i) and 4400 shall be substituted by the following

44 (i) Hand Woven woollen carpets of Persian and

Mobank designs upto 32000 knots per sq. metre.

44 (ii) Hand woven woollen carpets and rugs except of

Persian and Mobarik designs.

Export shall be allowed to all destinations, except to countries

having a common land frontier with Tndia snbiecl to the

following conditions :—

(i) Floor price of Rs. 85/- per sq. metre fob.

(ii) export shall be allowed on outright sale basis.

1. Export of carpets and rugs manufactured in Eluru allowed

to all destinations, except to countries having corrmen

land frontiers with India subject to the following conditions.

(i) Floor price of Rs. 50/- per sq. metre fob.

(ii) A certificate for the purpose of identification in respect

of "Eluru type" carpets and rugs is produced fiom

either one of the regional offices of All India Handi-

craft Board, located at various places, or the office

of the Marketing and Extension officer of A II India

Handicrafts Board, situated at Warrangal.

(lij) Export shall be on outright sale basis.

2. Export of other types of carpets and rugs allowed to all

destinations except to countries having a common, land

frontier with India, subject to the following conditions •—

(0 Floor price of Rs, 65/- per sq. metre fob.

(ii) Export shall be on outrieht sale basis.
