NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 13th January, 1978

G.S.R. 31(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of

section 3 of the Destructive Insects and Pests

Acl, 1914 (2 of 1914), the

Centra] Government hereby makes the following regulations luriher to amend

the Import of Cotton into India Regulations, 1972, namely :—

1. (1) These regulations may be called the Traport of Cotton into India

(First Amendment) Regulations, 1977.

(2) They shall tome into force on th« date of their publication in the

Official Gazette.

2. In legulation 4 of the Inipoit of Cotton into India Regulations, 1972, fui

the words and figures beginning with "and Ra, 8,00 per square bale"

ending with "Rs. 5.25 per round
