New Delhi, the 7th January 1978

S.O. 42(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of section 2

of. the Foreign Awards (iRccognition and Enforcement) Act, 1961 (45 of 1961),

the Central Government, being satisfied that reciprocal provisions have been made,

hereby declares Botswana, Cuba, Malagasy Republic, Mexico, Trinidad and

Tobago, German Democratic Republic, Denmark and the Arab Republic of

Egypt to be lerritories to which the Convention on the Recognition and Enforce-

ment of Foreign Arbitral Awards, set forth in the Schedule to the said Act,

applies.
