G.S.R. 81(E).—In exercise of the powers

conferred

by

section 6 of the Antiquities and Art Treasures Act, 1972

(52 of 1972), the Central Government hereby makes the follow-

ing amendments in the notification of the Government

of

India, in the Ministry of Education and Social Welfare, No.

O.S.R. 281(E) dated the 5th April, 1976, namely :—

In the said notification in column 2 of the Table,—(i) against

SI. No. 2, for the words and letters "Shri B. M, Pande, De-

puty Superintending Archaeologist" the letters and words "Shri

Shankar Nath, Superintending Archaeologist" shall be substi-

tuted.

(ii) against SI. No. 3, for the words and letters "Shri W. H.

Siddiqi" the letters and word "Dr. C. Marcabandhu" shall

bo substituted;

(lii) against SI. No. 4, for the letters and word "Dr. S. C.

Ray" the words and letters "Shri W. H. Siddiqi" shall

be

substituted;

(iv) a&ainst SI. No. 5, for the words and letter "Shri V.

Mishra" the words and letters "Shri R. S. Bisht"

shall

be

substituted;

(v) against SI. No. 7, for the words and letters "Shri M. D.

Khare" the words and letters "Shri B, M. Pande" shall be

substituted;

(vi) against SI. No. 8, for the words and letters "Shri B. K.

Sharan Deputy Superintending Archaeologist" the words anA

letters "Shri I. S. Nigam, Superintending Archaeologist", shall

be substituted;

(vii) against SI. No. 9, for the words and letters "Shri I.K.

Sarma, Deputy Superintending Archaeologist" the letters and

words "Dr. K. Kriahnamurthy, Superintending Archaeologist"

shall be substituted;

(viii) against SI. No. 10, for the words and letters "Shri

S. R. Rao" the words and letter "Shri V. Mlshra" shall be

substituted.
