No. F, (2(4)/77-R&C.—Whereas, in pursuance of (he provisions of section

2 of the .Salary and Allowances of Leaders of Opposition in Parliament Act,

1977 (33 of 1977), the Chairman of the Council of States has recognised Shii

Bhola Paswan Shastri, as lha Leader of the Opposition in the Council of States ;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of

the

said Act, the Central Government hereby notifies Shri Bhola Paswan Shastri, as

ihe Lender of the Opposition in the Council of States with effect from the 24th

day of February, 1978, for the purposes of the said Act.
