Whereas the Government of Nagaland have intimated a change

in the name of a village included in 49-TamIu Assembly constituency mention-

ed

in Schedule XVI

of

the Delimitation of Parliamentary

and Assembly

Constituencies Order, 1976;

And whereas the Commission considers it necessary and expedient to make

the amendment in the description of the extent of

constituency in Schedule

XVI of the Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies Order,

1976, to bring the Order uptodate;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (t)

of

section

9

of

the

Representation of

the People Act

1950, the Election

Commission hereby makes correction in the said Order as follows :—

I. In 49-Tamlu, in the description of the extent of constituency,

for

"Kumahu" read "Yongshei"; and

II. In the Foot Note at the end of the Schedule, for (he words

and

figures "1st day of August, 1977", the words wd figures "1st day

of January, 1978" shall be substituted.
