Subject:—Export of Basmati Rice under O.G.L.3.

No. 40/8/77-EH.—Attention

is invited to Exports (Control) Amendment

Order No.E(C)O,1977/AM(66) dated the 4th August, 1978, published in the Gazette

of India Extraordinary, on the above subject.

2. On a review of the position, it has been decided to allow export of Basmati

Rice subject to minimum export price. The entry No,2 in column 3 hi the Policy

Statement against S.No. 20 of Section II of the Export Policy Book, 1978-79. at page

15 thereof, shall be substituted as under:--

"2, Export of tho following varieties of Basmati Rice is allowed under OG'L-3

subject to minimum export price (FOB) as mentioned against each, as under:
