Subject : Import application fees—change in the Head of Account.

No. rrC/HB/Chupter V/(l)/1978-79.—Attention is invited to Appendix

9 of Hand Book of Import-Export Procedures,

1978-79

which inter ali>

indicates that the major Head of Account for payment of import licence

application fees shall be "104-Other General Economic Service:.".

2. It has now

been decided by Government to change the said major

Head of Account to read as "097-Foreign Trade and Export

Promotion".

(The minor head, namely, "Import Licence Application Fee" shall remain

unchanged);

3. Para (i) of Appendix 9 of the Hand Book of Import-Export Procedures.

1978-79 shall be deemed to have been amended accordingly.
