NOTIFICATION

S.O. 533(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 29B of the

Industries (Development and Regulation) Act,

1951 (65 of 1951), the

Central Government hereby rcsidends

tile notification No.

3(3)/65-Ch. ITI

dated the 27th May, 1969 of the late Department of Chemicals.

For the purpose of sub-section (2) of section

29B of the said Act, the

Central Government hereby specifies a period of six months from the date

of publication of this notification as the period after the expiry of which

no owner of any

industrial undertaking, which was previously

exempted

from the operation of sections 10, 11, 11A and 13 of the said Act and which

is not so exempt by virtue of this notification shall continue the manufacturing

activity in such undertaking, except under and in accordance with a licence

issued in this behalf by the Central Government and in the case of a State

Government except under and

in accordance with the

previous

prcmNsion

of the Central Government.
