New Delhi, the 21st October, 1978

S.O. 601(E).—In exercise of (he powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section

22 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, and in supersession of the

Commission's notification No. 318/J&K/78(4), dated the 16th October, 1978,

published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary, Part II Section 3(ii) dated the

16th October, 1978, the Election Commission hereby appoints Shri Abdur Rashid,
