NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 4th Decembor, 1978

G.S.R. 570(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by

section 28 of the Foieign Marriago Act, 1969 (33 of 1969), the

Central Government hereby makes the following rules further

to amend the Foreign Marriage Rules, 1970, namely :—

(1) These rules may be called the Foreign Marriage (Amend-

ment) Rules, 1978.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of publication

in the Official Gazette.

In the Foreign Marriage Rules, 1970, for Sub-rule (1) of

rule 15, the following sub-rule shall be substituted, namely ;—•

"15. Scale of fees : (1) The following fees shall be levied

by the Marriage Officeis :—

Category "B" countricsarc :

All other countries (excluding countries mentioned under

category "A")"
