New Delhi, the 7th December, 1978

S. R. O. 12(E).—In exercise of the

powers conferred by sub-section (1).

of section 2 of the Armed Forces (Emergency Duties) Act, 1947 (15 Of 1947),

the Central Government hereby declares every service forming part of, or

connected with, the generation, supply, operation and maintenance of electri-

city and running of generation stations and sub-stations in the State of Uttar

Pradesh to be a service of \ital importance to the community.
