ORDER

New Delhi, the 28th December, 1*78

S.O. 742<E).—Whereas by the Order of the Government

of India in Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial

Development) No. S. O. 507(E) dated the 18th August, 1978,

the management of

the industrial

undertaking known as

Messrs Rai Bahadur Hurdutroy Motilal Jute Mills Private

Limited. 68, Cotton Street, CaIcutta-7

(hereinafter referred

to as tho said industrial undertaking), has been taken over

under clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 18AA of the

Industrie* (Development and Regulation) Acl, 1951, (65 of

1951), for a period of three years upto and inclusive of the

17th August, 1981. And whereas the Central Government

ii satisfied that in relation to the said industrial undertaking

it is necessary no to do in the interests of the general public

with a view to preventing fall in the volume of production

of the scheduled industry, namely lute Industry ;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by

clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 18FB of the -.aid

Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the opera-

tion of all contracts,

assurances of property,

agreements,

settlements, awards, standing orders or other instruments in

force immediately before the date of issue of this Order

(other than those relating to secured liabilities to bants and

financial institutions) to which the said industrial underhiking

or the company owing such industrial undertaking is a party or

which may be upplicablc to such industrial undertaking or

company sball remain suspended for a period of one year

and that all the rights, privileges, obligations and liabilities

accruing or arising thereunder before the said date shall

remain suspended for the said period.
