1971), The Central Government hereby makes the follow-
ing amendments in the Table published in the Public Notice
No. DRAWBACK/PN-1 dated the 15th October, 1971 as
amended from time to time : —
In the Column 'Rate of drawback' against item (A)
of
Sub-Serial 2203 for item (i), the following shall be
substi-
tuted, namely : —
"Rs. 199.60 (Rupees one hundred ninety nine and Paise
sixty only) per one hundred square metres of the sur-
face area of such sea chests, plus'"
This Public Notice shall come into force on the 3rd day
of April, 1979.

and^Central Excise Duties Drawback Rules, 1971 (Notification
No. 52/F.No. 602/2/70-DBK published in the Gazette of India-
Extraordinary, dated the 25th August, 1971), the Central Go-
vernment hereby makes the following amendments in the Table
published in the Public Notice No. DRAWBACK/PN-1 dated
the 15th October, 1971 as amended from time to time :—

Serial No. 2204 shall be allowed in
addition to the rates prescribed under
Sub-Serial No. 2205.
This Public Notice shall come into force on the 3rd day of
April, 1979.

toms and Central Excise Duties Drawback Rules, 1971 (Noti-
fication No. 52/F. No. 602/2/70-DBK
published
in the
Gazette of India—Extra-ordinary,
dated the 25th August,
1971). The Central Government hereby makes the following
amendments in the Table published in the Public Notice No.
DRAWBACK/PN-1 dated the 15th October, 1971 as amend-
ed from time to time :—-
1. In the Column 'Rate of Drawback'
against item (ii)
of Sub-Serial No. 3605, the following shall be
substituted,
namely :—
"Rs. 968 (Rupees Nine hundred and sixty eight only)
per tonne".
2. In the Column 'Rate of Drawback' against sub-item (ii)
of item (B) of sub-Serial No, 3606, the following shall
be
substituted, namely :—
"Rs. 528 (Rupees five hundred and twenty eight only)
per tonne."
3. In the Column "Rate of Drawback" against Sub-item
(ii) of item (a) of sub-Serial No. 3608, the following shall
be substituted, namely :—

tituted, namely :—

24. In the Column 'Rate of drawback1 against Sub-item

be substituted, namely :—

25. In the Column 'Rate of drawback1 against item (b) of
sub-Serial No. 3812 for the words and figures "Rs. 520

26. This Public Notice shall be deemed to have come into
force on the 25th day of October, 1978.
