NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 10th August, 1979

G.5.R. 479(E).—Whereas in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 5 of

the Insscticides Act, 1968 (46 of 1968), the Central Government has nominated

the 'Dit-ector, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, as the Chair-

man of the Registration Committee with immediate effect vice the

Deputy

Director-General (Crop Sciences) Indian Council

of Agricultural Research,

New Delhi.

Now, therefore, in' pursuance of section 5 of the said Act, the Central

Government hereby roakes the following amendment in the Notification of the

Government of India in the Ministry of Agriculture (Department of Agriculture),

Nov-G.S.R, 1J42 dated the 13th October, 1971, namely:—

In the said notification under the heading 'Chairman', against item (i), for

the entry, the following entry shall be substituted, namely :—

'The Director, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi."
