CENTRAL EXCISES

G.S.R. 610(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-

rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944,

the

Central Government hereby exempts jute twine, falling under

Item No. 18D of the First Schedule to the Central Excises

CENTRAL EXCISES

G.S.R. 611(E').—In exercise of the powers conferred

by

sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the

Central Government hereby exempts jure packsheets,

falling

under Item No. 22A of the First Schedule to the Central

Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), when used for the

purpose of packing jute consignments in the factory

of

production for export, from the whole of the duty of excise

leviable thereon, if the Assistant Collector of Central Excise

is satisfied that such jute consignments are actually exported.
