No. 18-ETClPN)/H0 dated the 17th May, 1980, i-cud with Public

Notice No. 34-ETC(PN>/80 dated the 5th July, 1980, un the

above subject.

2, In review of the situation it h;is been decided thut with

immediate effect the following floor:, prices will be applicable on

the export of different grades of barytcs during the period 1-1-1981

to 30-6-1981 as shown below:

S^'Although the above floor prices are for a poriod of 6 montfi^

w^e.f. 1-1-1981, Government reserves the right to review the

floor prices in the event of any change being made in the export

policy for Barytes for the next licensing period i.e. 1981-82.

' 3. It has also been decided to allow export of OCMA/API

grades of Barytes in Kraft paper packing if the exporters are

getting extra amount for this type of packing over and above the

floor pi ice of US $ 67/- per M.T. and US ii 42/- per M.T. as the

cise may h; and a minimum of US $8/- per M,T. for pellctization.

However, ihe standard cost of Kraft paper packing to be charged

from buyers should be got cleared from Government before

entering into the contracts for such packing.

4. The contracts entered into in terms of Public Notice No.

1 8-ETC(PN)/8O dated the 17th May, 1980, as amended from time

to tim; will be allowod. to be honoured subject to fulfilment of

provisions laid down in paragraph 223-Aof th; Hand Book of

Import-Export Procedures, 1980-81.

5. All other conditions mentioned in Public Notice No. 18-

ETC (PN)/80 dated the 17th May, 1980, and No. 34-ETC(PN)/80

dated tho 5th July, 1980, shall be applicable to export of Barytes

during the period M-1981 to 30-6-1981.
