S.O, 19<E).—In cxoicise of the poweis conferred by

section 12 of the

Working Journalists and Uthei Newspaper .Employees (.Conditions of Service)

and Mincellaneoui Piousions AU, 1955 (.45 of 1955), the Central Government

hereby, makes the following amendments in the

Order of

Government of

India in the Mmistiy of Labour No. S.O. 984(E) dated the 26th

December,

1080, namely :—

In the said Older—

(a) after clause fcl) the following clause shall be inserted, namely:—

"(dd) for sub-paragraph (13) of

paragraph 14 of

Chapter VI the

following sub-paiugiaph shall be substituted, namely:—

"(13) Where an employee is fitted into a scale in accordance with

the piovisions or these mica he shall be entitled to count in-

element on the same dale on which

he was

entitled to it

immediately before thia Order."

(b.1 foi clause (f) the following shall be substituted, namely:—•

"(f) The recommendations regarding House Rent Allowance are made

without prejudice to other

allowances,

benefits and

facilities

which are being paid at pieaent. The recommendations will not

also affect the quanta or

latcs of House

Rent Allowance if

eithei 31 e higher than what is recommended in respect of the

employees of news agencies.''
