NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 13th January, 1981

S.H.O. 6(E),—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of sec-

tion 2 of the Armed Forces (Emergency Duties) Act, 1947 (15 of 1947), and in

continuation of the notifications! of the Government of India in the Ministry of

Defence S.R.O. No. J3-E duled the 14th November 1980 und S.R.O. No. 17-E

dated the I lth December 1980, the Central Government hereby declares every

service foiming part of, or connected with, the generation, supply, operation arid

maintenance of petroleum products and running of oil installations and pipelines

in Assam to be a service of vital importance to the community for a further

period of one month with effect from 14th January 1981,
