New Delhi, the 16th January, 1981

CENTRAL EXCISES

G.S.R. 2S(E).—In exercise of the powen conferred by sub-ruic (1 of tule 8

of the Centi.il Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the

following amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in the

Ministry of l-in.incc (Department of Revenue) No. 100/i()-Centr.i| Excises, dated

the 19ih June, 1980 namely :—

In the said notification, 10 the first paragraph, the following proviso shrill

be added namely :—

"Provided thai nothing contained in this notification shall apply to such

cylinders manufactured in any factory whose annual licensed capacity

foi manufacturing such cylindeis as certified by the Development

Officer of Directorate General of Technical Development exceeds

sixty thousand numbers of such cylinders."
