S.R.O. 8(E).—In exercise of the powers

conferred by sub-section

(I) of

section 2 of the Armed Forces (Emergency Duties) Act, 1947 (15 of 1947),

(he Cential Government hereby declares (a) all services in connection with the

pi eduction, supply and distribution of water nnd electricity including the services

under the State Electricity Board constituted under the Electricity Supply Act

1948 and (b) any Telegraph and Telephone services in the state of Assam to be

services of vitul importance to the community.
