FOREIGN TRAVEL TAX

G.S.R, 40(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36 of

the

Finance Act, 1979 (21 of 1979), the Central Government, being satisfied that

it is necessary and expedient so to do, hereby exempts the Foreign Ministers,

their spouses and delegates (including officials) numbering about one thousand

in all ojming to attend the Non-aligned Foreign Ministers' Confeicnce to be

held in New Delhi from the 4th February, 1981 *o the 12th February, 1981,

from payment of foreign travel ta\ leviable under sub-section (1) of section 35

of the said Act, in respect of their international journey to any place outside

India at the close of the said Conference.

2. This notification shall remain in force upto and inclusive of the 20lh

Fobruaiv, 1981.
