No.O-2/79-EP.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 45 of iho Food

Corporations Act, 1964 (37 of 19o4) and with the previous sanction,of the Cential

Government, the 1-ood Corporation of India hereby makes the following Je&ula-

tions further to amend the Food Corporalion of India (StafJJ Rtgulntjcns, W l :

1. (1) These Regulations shall be called the Food Coipoiation of DidJa (Star!)

(71st amendment) Regulations, 1981.

(2) They shall be deemed to have come into force on the 6th February, 1981.

2, (i) The existing provisions appearing against SI. No. 4 of Appendix-2

ihall be substituted as under :—

(ii) The last sentence appealing in Regulation 9(b)(ii) viz. "The appointing

authority shall ordinarily make appointments in iccordsrtc with the list prcpnteil

by the Selection Board, but where any appointing authoiily does not agrco will:
