ORDER

New Delhi, the 3rd February, 1981

S.O. 87(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-

section (1) of section 9 of the Industries (Development and

Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government

hereby makes the following amendments in the Order of the

Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department

of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 862(E), dated the 27th

October, 1980, namely:—

2. In the said Order,—

(a) in the opening paragraph, for the portion beginning

with the words "the classes of goods" and ending

with the words "the Table below", the following

shall be substituted, namely:—

'the classes of goods described in column (1) of the

Table below, manufactured or produced wholly or

in part by any industrial undertaking pertaining

to flic scheduled industry falling under the heading

"24. Paper and Pulp including Paper Products"

in the First Schedule to the said Act;

(b) for the entries in column (1) of the Table, the follow-

ing shall be substituted, namely:—

"Paper and Paper Board, all sorts (including newsprint,

pasteboard, mill board, strawboard, cardboard and

corrugated board).".

3. This Order shall come into force on and from the date

of its publication in the Official Gazette.

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 3rd February, 1981

S.O. 88{E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-

section (1) of section 29B of the Industries (Development

and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Govern-

ment hereby exempts the industrial undertakings pertaining to

the scheduled industry falling under the heading "24. Paper

and Pulp including Paper Products" in the First Schedule

to the said Act and having investment in fixed assets in plant

and machinery not exceeding twenty lakhs of rupees from

the operation of the Order of the Government of India in

the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Deve-

lopment) No. S.O. 862(E), dated the 27th October, 1980, as

amended from time to time.

2. This notification shall come into force on and from

the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
