New Delhi, the 13lh Hebruaiy, 1981

S.O. <J4iE).—In exeicise of the poweis cnnlerred by sub-section (3) of seclioni

of the Employees' State Instance Act, 194K 134 of 1948), the Central Government

hereby appoints the J5th day of 1 ebiuaiy, 1981 as the date on which the piovisions

of Chapter IV (except sections 44 and 45 which have already been brought

into force) and Chapters V ,md VI lexcepi sub-section (1) of section 76 and

sections 77. 78, 79 and 81 which have jlieady been In ought into lorcej of

the said Act shall come into force in Ibe following aieas in the State of Keialn,

namely :—
