NOTIFICATIONS

New Delhi, the 13th February, 1981

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-

section (1) of section 3 of the Regional Rural Banks Act,

1976 (21 of 1976), the Central Government, being requested

so to do by Andhra Bank, establishes, with effect from the

14th February, 1981 a Regional Rural Bank in the State

of Orissa under the name of Rushikulya Gramya

Bank

which shall operate within the local limits of the district

of Ganjam in the State of Orissa.

S.O. 98(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-

section d) of section 4 of the Regional Rural Banks Act,

1976 (21 of 1976), the Central Government, after consulta-

tion with the Reserve Bank of India and Andhra Bank, by

which Rushikulya Gramya Bank has been sponsored, speci-

fies Berhampur in the district of Ganjam as the place where

Rushikulya Gramya Bank shall have its head office.

(a) of sub-section (6) of section 42 of the Reserve

Bank

of India Act, 1934 (2 of 1934). the Central Government

heieby notifies, for the purpose? of the said sub-clause,

Rushikulya Gramya Bank, Berhampur being an institution

established undei sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Regional

Rural Banks Act. 1976 (21 of 1976).

S.O. 100{E).—In pursuance of clause (a) of sub-section

(6) of section 42 ot the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934

(2 of 1934) the Reserve Bank of India hereby directs the

inclusion in the Second Schedule to the said" Act of the

following bank, namely .—

"Rushikulya Giamya Bank, Berhampur (Orissa)".
