New Delhi, the 28th Febiuary, 1981

G.S.R. h8(Ej.—In exercise of the powers confened by section 16 of the

Insecticides Act. 1968 (46 of 1968) and in supersession of the Notification of

Government of India, Ministiy of Agriculture (Department of Agriculture hnd

Cooperation), No. G.S.R. 566(E), dated the 28(h November, iy75, the Central

Government hereby

(a) establishes a Central Insecticides Laboratory in the Dnectorme of

Piant Protection, Quarantine and Storage, Faridabad, Haryana with

laboratories at Central Plant Piotcction Training Institute, Rajendra-

nagar, Hyderabad and Plant Quarantine and Fnmijjaticn Station,

Sewn, Bombay, us its branch laboratoiies ; and

(b) appoints the Plant Protection Adviser to thz (jovcrnnioni of India,

in tho Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine and Storage, as

the Director, of the sai4 Central Insecticides Laboratory, in addition

to his own duties until further orders.
