G.S.K. 89(E).—In exeicise of the povveis <-oafened by sub-section (3) ot

section 9 of the Salary, Allowances and Pension of Metnbeis of

Parliament

Act, 1954 (30 ol" 19541 the Joint Committee constituted under sub-section (1)

of that section, after consultation with the Centtal Government, hereby makes

the following mles to amend the Membas of Parliament (Additional Facilities)

Rules, 1975, the same having been approved and confirmed by the Chairman

of the Council of States, and loe Speaker of the House of the People, as

required by sub-section (4) of the said section nanu'!y :• -

1. (1) These rules may bo called the Membeis of Parlwmeiil (Additional

Facilities) Amendment Rules, l^r>81.

(2) They shall come into force on the date ot then publication in the

Official Gazette.

2. In rule 3 of the Members of

Purli.-muit

(Additional Facilities) Rules,

1975 for the words "five hundred" the word, "one thousand" shall be substituted.
