CUSTOMS

G S.R. 169(E).—In exercise of the poweis conlened by sub-section (1) of

section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 O2 of 1962), the Central Government,

being satisfied lh.it it is necessary in the public intcicst so to do, heieby

exempts deadbumt magnetite, when imparted into India, from MO much of

that poition of the duty ot customs, leviable Iheieon which is specified in the

J^Jirst Schedule to the Customs Tuiiff Att, 1975 (51 of 1975), as is in excess

of 40 pel cent ad-valorem
