S.O. 149(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-clauso (b) of

clause ^of the Newsprint Control Order, 1962, Nc. CH(l)-]8<l)/62 dated the

17th. January, 1962, the Government of India are heieby pleased to appoint

Stiri S. V. S. Sastry, Deputy Press Registrar, Office of the Rcgislrai of News

papers for India, Ministry of Iniormation and Bioadcasting, New Delhi, to

exercise powers of Ihe Conlroilei under the ordei, with imeduile effect.

2. The Ministry's eailicr Notification No. S O, 122(E) dntcd 20th February,

1978 relating to the appointment of Shri R. C, Dey, Deputy Press Registrar,

as Controller under the said Order ib hereby cancelled.
