S.O. 186(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 oi the

Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955), the Centrm uovuu _

makes the following order further to amend the Woollen Textiles (Production

and Distribution Control) Order, 1962, namely :—

(1) This order may be called the Woollen Textiles (Production and Dis-

tribution Control) (Amendment) Order, 1981.

(2) It shall com© into force on the date of its publication in the Official

Gazette.

2. In the Woollen Textiles (Production and Distribution Contiol) Order

1962, In clause 4,—

(i) for the heading "Fixation of Prices", the heading "Fixation of prices,

specification of packing and marking" shall be substituted;

(ii) for sub-clause (2) the following

sub-clause shall be substituted,

namely :—

"(2) The Textile Commissioner may specify the manner of packing

woollen yHrn, markings to be made by manufacturer or dealer

on any class or specification of woollen yarn manufactured or as

the case may

be sold by

him and the time and manner of

making such markings" ;

(iii) In sub-clause (3), for the words "in excess of charges fixed" the words

"in excess of charges, if any, fixed" shall be substituted ;

(iv) in sub-clause (4), for the words, "in excess of the price fixed," the

words, "in excess of the price, if any, fixed" shall be substituted.
