S O. 203(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-

section (1) of section 3 of the Regional Rural Banks Act,

1976 (21 of 1976), the Central Government, being requested

so to do by Indian Bank, establishes, with effect from the

22nd March, 1981 a Regional Rural Bank in the State of

Andhra Pradesh under the name of Shri Venkateswara Gra-

meena Bank which shall operate within the local limits of

the district of Chittoor in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

S.O. 204(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-

section (1) of section 4 of the Regional Rural Banks Act,

1976 (21 of 1976), the Central Government, after consulta-

tion with the Reserve Bank of India and Indian Bank,

by

which Shri Venkateswara Grameena Bank has been sponsored,

specifics Chittoor as the place where Shri Venkateswara Gra-

meena Bank shall have its head office.

of sub-section (6) of section 42 of (he Reserve Bank of India

Act, 1934 (2 of 1934), the Central Government hereby notifies,

for the rifirpqse$ of the said sub-clause, Shri Venkateswara

Grameena ^lBai)!t Chittoor being an institution established

under sub-wctkra (1) of section 3 of the Regional Rural Banks

Act. 1976 (21 of 1976).
