NOTIFICATIONS

New Delhi, the 20th March, 1981

S.O. 207(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-

section (1) of section 3 of the Regional Rural Banks Act,

1976 (21 of 1976), the Central Government, being requested

so to do by Canara Bank, establishes, with effect from the

22nd March, 1981 a Regional Rural Bank in the State of

Uttar Pradesh under the name of Aligarh Gramin Bank which

shall operate within the local limits of the district of Aligarh

in the State of Uttar Pradesh.

S.O. 208(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-

section (1) of secton 4 of the Regional Rural Banks Act,

1976 (21 of 1976), the Central Government, after consultation

with the Reserve Bank of India and Canara Bank, by which

Aligarh Gramin Bank has been sponsored, specifies Aligarh

as the plate where Aligarh Gramin Bank shall have its head

office.

S.O. 209(E).—Tn pursuance of sub-clause (iii) of clause

(a) of sub-section (6) of section 42 of the Reserve Bank of

India Act, 1934 (2 of 1934). the Central Government hertby

notifies, for the purposes of the said sub-clause, Aligain

Gramin Bank, Aligarh being an institution established under

sub-section (I) of section 3 of the Regional Rural Banks

Act, 1976 (21 of 1976).

in the Second Schedule to the said Act of the following bank,

namely :—
