necessary in the public interest so to do. hereby makes the

following further amendment in the notification of the Govern-

ment of India in the Ministry of Finance. Department of

In the said notification, for the figures, letters and words

"31st day of March, 1981" the figures, letters and words "31st

day of March, 1982", shall be substituted.

Revenue No. 200-Customs, dated the 28th September, 1979,

tuted.

G.S.R. 226(E),—In c.xcicise of the powers conferred by

sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52

of 1962), read with sub-cl.iuse (4) of clause 47 of the Finance

Bill, 1981, which clause has, by virtue of the declaration made

in the said Bill under the provisional Collection of Taxes Act,

1931 (16 of 1931), the force of law, the Central Government,

being satisfied (hat it is necessary in the public interest so to

do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification

of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Dc-

pnrtment of Revenue J No. 52-Customs dated the 1st March,

1981, namely :—
