NOTIFICATIONS

Now Delhi, the 27th March, 1981

S.O. 237(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-

section (1) of section 3 of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976

(21 of 1976), the Central Government, being requested so to

do by Central Bank of India, establishes, with effect

from

the 28th March, 1981 a Regional Rural Bank in the State of

Bihar under the name of Saran Kshetriya Gramin Bank which

shall operate within the local limits of the district of Saran

in the State of Bihar.

S.O. 238(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-

section (1) of section 4 of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976

(21 of 1976), the Central Government, after consultation with

the Reserve Bank of India and Central Bank of India,

Bank has been sponsored,

specifies, Chapra as the place where Saran Kshetriya Gramin

Bank shall have its head office.

S.O. 239(E).—In pursuance of sub-clause (iii) of clause (a)

of sub-section (6) of section 42 of the Reserve Bank of India

Act, 1934 (2 of 1934), the Central Government hereby notifies,

for the purposes of the said sub-clause, Saran Kshetriya Gr»-

min Bank, Chapra being an Institution established under

sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Regional Ruial Banks Act,

1976 (21 of 1976).

NOTIFICATION

Bombay, the 28th March, 1981

S.O. 24<XE).—In pursuance of clause (a) of sub-section (6)

of section 42 of the Reserve Bank of India, Act, 1934 (2 of

1934) the Reierve Bank of India hereby directs the inclusion

in the Second Schedule to the said Act of the following bank,

namely :—

"Saran Kshetriya Gramin Bank, Chapra (Bihar)".
