NOTIFICATIONS

New Delhi, the 28th March, 1981

S.O. 241(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-

section (1) of section 3 of the Regional

Rural Banks Act,

1976 (21 of 1976) the Central Government, being requested

so to do by Canara Bank, establishes, with effect from

the

29th March, 1981 a Regional Rural Bank in the State of

Uttar Pradesh under the name of Etah Gramin Bank which

shall operate within the local limits of the district of Etah

in the State of Uttar Pradesh,

S.O. 242(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-

section (1) of section 4 of the Regional Rural Banks

Act,

1976 (21 of 1976), the Central Government, after consultation

with the Reserve Bank of India and Canara Bank, by which

Etah Gramin Bank has been sponsored, specifies Etah as

the place where Etah Gramin Bank

shall hove its head

office.

of nub-section (6) of section 42 of the Reserve Bank of India

Act, 1934 (2 of 1934), the Central Government hereby notifies,

for the jmrposes of the said sub-clause, Saran Kshetiiya Gra-

Etah being an institution established

under sub-section (1)

of jcction 3 of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of

1976).
