New Delhi, the 28th March, 1981

S.O. 249(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-

section (1) of section 3 of the Regional Rural Banks Act,

976 (21 of 1976), the Central Government, being requested

so to do by State Bank of India, establishes, with effect from

tic 30lh March, 1981 a Regional Rural Bank in the State

of Madhya Pradesh under the name of Demoh-Panna-Sagar

Kshetriya Gramin Bank which shall operate within the local

limits of the districts of Panna, Damoh and Sagar in the

State of Madhya Pradesh.

S.O. 250(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-

section (1) of section 4 of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976

(21 of 1976), the Central Government, after consultation with

the Reserve Bank, of India and State Bank of India, by

which Damoh-Panna-Sagar Kshetriya Gramin Bank has been

sponsored, specifies Damoh as the place where Damoh-

Panna-Sagar Kshetriya Gramin Bank

shall

have its head

office.

S.O. 251(E).—In pursuance of sub-clause (iii) of clause (a)

of sub-section (6) of section 42 of the Reserve Bank of India

Act, 1934 (2 of 1934), the Central Government hereby notifies,

for the purposes of the said sub-clause, Damoh-Panna-Sagar

Kshetriya Gramin Bank, Damoh beina an institution cs'abli'ih-

ed under sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Regional Rural

Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976).
