G.S.R. 242{E).^—•In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8

of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes

the

following amendment in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry

of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 69/81-Ccntral Excises, dated the 25th

March, 1981, namely :•—

In Iho said notification, in paragraph 1, for the words "Provided also that

nothing contained in this notification shall apply", the words "Provided also that

nothing contained in the first proviso to this notification shall apply" shall bo

substituted.
