In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (J) of rule 8

of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby direct:, that each

of the Notifiacations of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance Depart-

ment of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed shall be further

amended in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the

said Table.

In paragraph 2 of the said notification, for

the figures, letters and words "31st day

of March, 1981", the figures, letters

and words "31st day of March, 1982"

shall be substituted.

In the said notification, for paragraph 2,

the following paragraph shall be sub-

stituted, namely :

"2. Item (n) of the first proviso shall be in

force upto and inclusive of the 31st day

of March, 1982".

In the said notification, for paragraph 2,

the follow in paragraph shall be sub-

stituted namely :—

"2, Item (g) of tho fourth proviso shall

be in force up to and inclusive of the

31st day of Merch, J 982".
