NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 2nd April, 1981

G.S.R. 279(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by

subjection (2), read with clause (e) of sub-section (1) of

section 7 of the Food Corporations Act, 1964 (37 of 1964)

and rule 4 of the Food Corporations Rules, 1963, the Cen-

tral Government hereby appoint Dr. G. S. Vidyarthy, Joint

Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Agricul-

ture, Department of Agriculture and Co-operation as a director

on the Board of Directors of the Food Corporation of India

vice Shri A. J. S. Sodhi, resigned, for a period upto September

25, 1982, and for that purpose amends the notification of

the Government of India in the late Ministry of Food and

Agriculture (Department of Food) No. G.S.R. 37, dated the

2nd January, 1965, as follows namely :—

In the said notification, for the entry (9), the following

entry shall be substituted, namely :—

"(9) Dr. G. S. Vidyarthy, Joint Secretary to the Gov-

ernment of India, Ministry of Agriculture (Depart-

ment

of Agriculture

and

Co-operation),

New

Delhi."
