NOTIFICATION

G-S.R. 289{E).—In exercise of ihe poweis conferred by section 41 of the

Warehousing Corporations Acl, 1962 (58 of 1962), the Central Government

hereby makes th« following rules further to amend the Central Warehousing

Corporation Rules, 1963, namely:—

1. (1) These rules may be called the Centiai Warehousing Corporation

(Amendment) Rules, 1981.

(2) They shall come into force on ihe dale of their publication in (he

Official Gazette.

2. In rule 4 of the Centiai Warehousing Corporation Rules, 1963, for sub-

rule (3A), the following sub-i-ule shall be substituted, namely.-'—

"(3A) The t«m of office of the monaumg director appointed under

clause (g) of sub-section (1) of section 7 shall bo 5 years from the

date of his appointment as managing director or till the date of his

superannuation, whichever is earliei ;

Provided iliut if an officer of the Government or on employee of a Govern-

ment Company or of a statutory body owned or controlled by the Govern-

ment ii appointed on deputation as managing director, the terra of office in

his case shall be two years from

the date

of his appointment as managing

director or till the date of his superannuation, whichever is earlier,"
