New Delhi, 'he 16th April, 1981

G.S.R. 29l(E)/E«. Coin/Sugarcane.—In exercise of the powers conferred

by clause 3 of the Sugarcane (Control) Order, 1966, and having regard to Ihe

various factors mentioned in sub-clause (1) thereof, the Central Government,

after consultation with such authorities, bodies and associations as are consi-

dered necessary by it to be consulted, hereby, on the

basis of

the basic

minimum price of sugarcane at Rs. 13.00 per quintal linked to a recovery

of 8.5 per cent or below of sugar with a premium of 15.2941 paise

per

quintal for every 0.1 per cent increase in recovery above 8.5 per cent, fixes,

with immediate effect, the price specified in column (3) of the Schedule

hereto annexed as the minimum price of sugarcane which shall be payable

by the owners of the vaccum ran process sugar factory specified in the cor-

responding entry in column (2) of the said

Schedule, or its agents

for

sugarcane delivered at the gate of the factory or at any purchasing centre

for the sugar year 1980-81 until the 30th September. 1981. subject to the

rebate payable, therefor, under clause 3A of the said Order.
