G.S.R. 3<IO(E),—In exorcise of the powers confci red by the proviw to article

309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes tr-e following rules

to

amend the Central Water laboratory (Group C and Group D)

Rccruitnwnt

Rules, 1978, namely :

1, (1) These rules may be called the Central Wntcr Laboratory ^Gorup C

and Group D} Recruitment (Amendment) RHes, 19rtl.

(li) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the

Official Gazette.

2. In the Schedule to tho Central

Water

Laboratory (Group C

and

Grtrop D) Recruitment Rules, 1978,—

against Serial No. 2, relating to the post of Laboratory Assistant, for

the entry under column 12, tho foljowing entry shall be substituted,

namely :

"By promotion from Laboratoiy Attendant with 3 years' service in the

grade after appointment thereto on a regular basis".
