over under sub-section (1) ot section 18AA of the Industrial

(Development and Regulation) Act. 1951 (65 of 1951), for a

period of one year upto and inclusive of the 30th April,

1979 and ,he Bharat Aluminium Company limited was autho-

rised to fake ovr the management of the said industrial

undertaking ;

And, whereas by the Order of the Government of India ,n

lopment) No. S.O. 224(E), dated the 25'h April, 1979, the

duration of the said Order was extended for a period of one

year up*o (he 30th April, 1980;

And. wheioas by (he Orders of the Government of India

1980, the duration of the said Order was extended upto and

inclusive of the 30th April. 1981:

And. whereas the Central Government is of opinion thai

it is expedient in the public in<erest that the said industrial

undertaking should continue under the management of the

Bharat Aluminium Company Limited for a further period

of one vear

Now, therefore, in exercise of (he powers conferred by sub-

section (2) of section 18AA of the Industries (Development

and Regulation! Act, 1051 (fi5 of 1951), the Central Govern-

ment hereby directs tha- the said Order shall continue

have effec¹ fr>t a further neriod of one year unto and inclusive

of the 30th April, 1082.

1DRA!78, dated the 2nd May, 1978 (hereinafter referred to

as the said Order*, 'he Centra! Government, in exercise of the

powers confeired by clause (b) of sub section (1) of section

18FB of the Industries ^Development and Regulation) Act,

1951 (65 of 1951), had declared that the operation of all

contracts,

assurances of property,

agreements,

settlements,

awards, standing orders or other instruments in force imme-

diately before the date of issue of the said Order to which

the industrial undertaking loca'ed at Jaykaynagar near Asan-

sol and belonging 'o the Aluminium Corporation of India

Limited. Calcutta, is a party or which may be applicable to the

said industrial undertaking, shall remain suspended for

period of one year and that all rights previleges, obligations

and liabilities armrM? or arising thereunder before the said

date "hall remain suspended for a period of one year:

And, whereas by the Order of the Government of India in

the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Develop-

ments No S.O. 225(F)!18FB'II>RA^I79. dated the 29th April,

1979, the dura'ion of the said Order was extended for

period of one vear upto <rte 1st Mav, 1980:

And. whereas by the Orders of the Government of Tndia

in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Deve-

lopment) No SO. 287fE)ll8FB!TDRAl80. dated the 29th Anril.
