NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 6th May, 1981

O.N. 3(E)—Whereas a vacancy has occurred in the House

of the People by reason of the death of Shri Aziz Aman a

member elected to that House from 54 Mazapur Parliamentary

constituency in the State of Uttar Pradesh;

Now, therefore, in pursuance of the provisions of sub-sec-

tion (1) of section 149 of the Representation of the People

Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), ths Election Commission hereby calls

upon the said constituency to elect a person to fill the said

vacancy before 18th June, 1981 (Thursday) in accordance with

the provisions of the said Act and of the Rules and Orders

made thereunder.
