Now, therefore, in pursuance of the provisions of sub-sec-

tion (1) of section 149 of the Representation of the People

Act 1951 (43 of 1951), the Election Commission hereby calls

upon the said constituency to elect a person to fill the said

vacancy before 18th June, 1981 (Thursday) in accordance with

the provisions of the said Act and of the Rules and Orders

made thereunder.

of nominations ;

withdrawal of candidatures;

(e) the 18th June, 1981 (Thursday), as the date before

which the election shall be completed.

election to the House of the People from 6 Cuttack Parlia-

mentary Constituency, to be held in pursuance of its notifica-

tion No. 100/OR-HP/1/80(1), dated the 6th May, 1981.
